Holly Hudspeth née Hepp, is a lifelong equestrian who has made a career in the sport of eventing.
Under the tutelage of Karen and David O’Connor she made her 5* debut at Kentucky in 2003 with Lester Piggot, also completing the event in 2004 with Damian and 2010 with Last Monarch. Holly has also competed at the 5* in Luhmuhlen, Germany, in addition to earning her red coat by representing the US at the 2003 Pan American Games with Lester Piggot.
Holly’s wealth of competition experience and expertise with coaching some of the highest-ranking Young Riders and Amateurs have made her one of the most popular trainers and clinicians in the US. She is known for her clear and concise instruction and her passion for helping riders make the best possible connection with their horse.
Her passion for coaching has not gone unnoticed – Holly has worked as the Area VII Young Rider Coach and has also earned her ICP level IV certification.
Based in North Carolina, Holly spends most of her time coaching and helping develop both horses and riders. In addition to being a popular Ride iQ coach, she has also become a sought-after live stream commentator, lending her expertise on broadcasts of some of the top events in the country.
